You may yet find something you like equally well. ![]() But I would try some other races with strong racial governance first. Then you can always try to mod something. Now perhaps you'll find out you really miss those Elven casting points anyway. Yes, those bonus casting points for Elves are very nice indeed, but if you look at a race like Tigrans who can get +25 gold, (35 for warlord, 40 for Grey Guard master warlord) +20 mana and +20 production in all their cities, not to mention a discount on settler gold and population cost, in real term you can also muster massive quantities of casting points in the end-game. * Play a race with strong economy like humans or tigrans AND a class with strong economy like Warlord or Dreadnought and build tons of cities all over the map. * Play a race with strong economy, like Humans on a water map, and build grand palaces everywhere. * Play a Draconian Sorcerer for even more magic mayhem. ![]() Be sure to turn on "random heroes match player race" for max benefit, though.) * Play a Draconian and get bonus caster points much earlier. High-level racial governance only comes into play at the end of the game when you're pretty much won anyway, But even if you do want great governance skills and a lot of casting points, there are plenty of other options: why not just shake it up and pick a different race regardless?
